Default 4l80e and np242 drag truck

I'm trying to plan an AWD street/strip truck with a 4l80e and a np242 (Hummer t-case) The engine will be a twin turbo 427,with 1500 ft/lbs torque or so. i need a front end gearbox solution, and ideas to beef the t-case. Also, same diameter wheels, can i run different width tires without burning the t-case?

camaro rear gearbox in front?

Paris has not had any trouble with 1000 plus HP with a stock tcase. I would PM him.

It's actually Parish8.
He's one on the fastest twin turbo LS1 engine equipped trucks here.
He's AWD or 4wd as well.
He would know what you would need to do if the T-case needed to be beefed up.

I would try the stock t-case first. It is dirt cheap from a salvage yard and if you blow it oh well you might try advanced adaptors for somthing a little more beefy but they cast mucho $$$

Sorry Parish I was just in from work and I cant spell for $hit.

I don't think you would have a problem with different width tires on front/rear. One side is either pulling or pushing the other when you loose traction launching, the side with the smaller tires will just have less traction. Just make sure you have some driveshaft loops with 1500ft lbs

You need a passenger side differential to use the 2500 T-case. A 2500 front diff would probably hold up.

I thought all of these current diff and front axles are driver side......maybe the old stuff was different, but I'm pretty damn sure its all drivers side now.......

Oops, I meant drivers side. Sorry about that. Make sure to read my advise a few times before believing it now! LOL.
