4l80e no workie----Trans or converter?

Off to pull the pan I go then.
.
Why oh why couldn't GM put in a drain plug? Transfluid shower wasn't on my list today.

Yea, not having a plug is a BITCH. Luckily, I now have a pan with a plug.

Pulled the pan. Everything looks pretty good. There's a little sediment, but no big pieces of anything.

One free cut and clean...within what timeline?? I just sent mine back within 1 year of purchase cost me over 240.00 bucks. Sorry to hijack but this grabbed my attention.

Sorry for the confusion. The HP series does not have the included cut and clean, only the Pro Series does. I thought the OP had one of our billet converters. The normal fee for a C&C on the HP Series is $200 plus shipping.

Pulled the trans out..took a look at the front pump and it looks great

I gave up and am headed out right now to take it to Blake for a rebuild

Got the converter in today. It all looks good. No metal or anything broken. Hopefully Blake will find something.....
