Default 4L80E Conversion Cost???

Looking at having a 4l80E installed in the next few weeks, and am finally ready to start purchasing everything needed to make the swap with my current 4l70E.
I have read about the Speed Engineering issues, and would like to look into an alternative- any suggestions? Can anyone tell me what I'm looking at spending for just the conversion components themselves?

Thanks!

I just looked into this and for everything but labor (if you were to do so) wound up between $5-6k.

For the hp/tq numbers you have listed, a FLT level 5 should hold up fine, and would cost a lot less.

Labor? Who in their right mind would pay labor charges for something so simple?

He did say "Looking at having a 4l80E installed in the next few weeks" that's why I mentioned it.

It aint a Camaro!

He's 4WD. You gotta remove and disassemble the transfer case to swap out the input gear. It's not a walk in the park, but not horrible either

With the Built 4L80e I have for sale in the Parts section you do NOT have to swap the input gear in the transfer case... The trans has a hardend output shaft to match the AutoTrac's 27 spline input gear... So, just bolt it all together and drive...
