Is the bell housing on a 4L80E bigger than a 4L60E ?
I'm trying ti figure out if i can fit a 4L80E into my
Colorado, the trans tunnel is smaller than a Silverado.
Is the 6L80E any smaller, i would really like to use
this trans. is there anywhere i can find the measurements
of these trans ?

If you use a 99 and up unit, you may have to trim off the tabs on either side of the lower bell housing but other than that and the crossmember you should be good.

I’m doing my 80e swap right now! Like mentioned “DO IT!” I wouldn’t waste my time fooling around with the 6l80, which is a bigger unit

Well this gives me something to think about,
At this point I don't need a 4L80E, only 400+
RWHP. After the LSA install this summer things
my change. the 4L60E is holding up good behind
the 6.2, over 6 months. just remember this is my
DD. Idon't race much anymore. A roll race once in
a while on RT 95. gotta kick some Hemi ***>>>>

Is a 4L80E a PNP for a 2010 ?
do i just repin the harness or do i need
some sort of conversion harness ?
I know my PCM/BCM needs to be
reprogramed, I think the os has it in it.
