i found this craigslist ad
what we have here is a 2000 Chevrolet 4l80e transmission 2 wheel drive with torque converter from a 6.0 POWERED 3500 penske box van that had 45,000 miles, and was in an accident. the truck was totaled and this is all i have left.
thanks.
is there any difference between this 80e and one from a truck? if not will it work with mine or do i need a newer one? and what should i expect to pay for it?

It should work fine you just need to make the 80e conversion.
