Default 4l80 segment swap for '05 Escalade

My neighbor is trying to find out what we need to change in the computer for a 4l80 swap in his 05 escalade. He has HPtuners model year licensing for the 05 escalade, and 03 and 04 silverado/sierra. I just can seem to find out if any of those other OS's are compatible, or if it is possible to just do the segment swap on the '05 file. Any input is appreciated.

You'll need a conversion harness to correct the different pin locations and to add a second serial cable from the transmission to the PCM.You need to modify the crossmember to clear the pan and position the mount higher and further back. You'll the shift cable for a 4L80E to have enough travel to engage all the gears and park. Then a different segment file.

With HPtuners, I'm pretty sure you have to have then do the segment swap from what I've heard. Might want to get with ECTune on there board.

ECtune is on vacation, but he replied to me anyway. It sounds like the problem will be solved.

EC Tune is who will do my segment swap as well... anybody know the PCM pins that need to be tapped for the input shaft sensor? I assume the rear speed sensor uses the existing plug from the 4L60E...

Thanks,
Bill

Different model year may be a different pin out.
