4L80 Problem

Damn, when I first opened this thread I was like, that asshat went to the track without me! Then I looked at the date of the original post, lol, sorry buddy!
Yeah, when I get home I will post the logs up for you. His trans was going 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2 ?? We logged the basics for a couple of runs. I'll be home around 5 to post up.

Cool, thanks Bill!
Trying to get this fixed before I go back to the track. Hoping it is a solenoid or shift kit issue.

I think that you have to make some physical changes to the internals of the trans if you want it to have it manually hold a gear when commanded by the shift linkage. My Transgo HD2 shift kit came with Gear Command Pack that I did not install because they said not to put it in a street truck (work truck). I take it from that it will not hold a manual gear unless the Pack is installed.
On the front of the instructions it says:
Burnouts:
In water or bleach box: Break it loose in 1st/2nd, then upshift to 3rd.
Not sure if that is much help or not but Good Luck.
