After a good beating at fridays track day reverse was fine all night.Changed back to street tune and tires.Put into reverse to leave pits and nothing.Feels like a neutral gear.Never heard or felt any thing different.Beat up on it all the way home all is good in forward gears holding fine.Dont no if its mechanical or electrical.

Any info or suggestions on cause would be of great help.

It sounds like you might a clutch pack or band burned up but not for sure, since your forward gears are fine. You might have got some debris in one of valves and it's sticking. I don't have my tranny manual where I am at that tells which clutch pack, band and solenoid is used for reverse.

 

Flush the trans and see what happens.....

 

I'd make blownchevy pay for it if I were you.

Have you checked the fluid level yet? (Someone was bound to say it)

 

Sorry the warranty was void after the Nitrous.

 

Fluid level good and smells soso.Checked electrical connectors on trans.Nothing looks out of place.

BLOWNCHEVY i thought the truck had a extended warranty.Maybe its covered. Just kiding
