Default 4L80-e just had it rebuilt no reverse & forward in neutral

my truck ran great for a week after the rebuild then one morning i put it in reverse and it wouldn't go backwards not even roll down the driveway. if i turn of the engine it will roll back.

after getting it to the road i can put it in neutral and it will go forward in first gear (i think). if i put it in overdrive or in drive it will get up to about 45 mph (second gear i think) and no more.

the company that i had rebuild it has gone out of business so I'm on my own after paying big bucks. so I;m hoping it is a easy fix.

it is a 93 k3500 4x4 with a 454

any help would be great

thanks
Drek

It sounds like your forward clutch has welded itself together. This would explain the bind up in reverse and why it goes forward in neutral. Vince
