Default 4L65E Transgo HD2 reprogramming shift kit

I'm getting ready to order the Transgo HD2 shift kit for my 07 silverado. My question is, the kit that says 4l60e should fit the 4l65e correct? I just want to be reaffirmed from someone more knowledgeable than me that it will work. I want to do the kit with the 2nd gear servo and 4th gear servo from Sonnax, let me know what ya'll think about that setup? T.I.A

TG kit for 60E will work fine for 65E. Sonnax servos are great. I don't know that I would do the sonnax 2nd servo. You get very firm 2nd gear shifts with a vette servo and the sonnax will hit harder.

Thanx I'm also worried about it hitting to hard in second gear. Hard would be ok too hard, would be uncomfortable. Would it still hit very hard if i put no washers in there?
Thanks for the info.

I just got done doing a 65E in my truck. The second I have done. Both cases Full TG HD2 kit. Vette 2nd servo, Sonnax super hold 4th. New TG separator plate with all holes drilled to stall converter settings. 2 washers in the 2nd accum. Also getting 2-4 servo travel to about 1/8". Stock line pressures.

The 1-2 shift is perfect part to full throttle with tending to be too hard low throttle particularly when cold.

Yes removing accum shims entirely or dropping to one would lessen the 1-2 shift.

As far as the shims go and shift firmness the torque converter you are running plays a big role. I had the opportunity with my FLT tranny to run both the stock and mild stall PI converter. The transmission shifted hard with the PI and abusive hard with the stock TC.

I can understand someone running a YANK 3000 stall wanting more having the same setup as mine wanting a harder shift. The TC is soaking it up.

I have the T.G shift kit and corvette servo in my Camaro SS with a 3600 P.I and i would swear i don't have a shift kit before the stall it would hit firm not hard so i'm wondering if the Sonnax 2nd would be good enough I would like to do a T.C also but that will come later... Well thanx for your info guys... I'm ordering the T.G HD2 and sonnax 2nd and 4th servos...
