I have a complete stock 4L65E Trans but I've got future plans for an STS rear mount to go on the truck. I'm lookin at puttin a Transgo Shift Kit and the Corvette servo in but idk what else maybe needed for it to hold up. Any ideas? Also how many washers should be used with the shift kit? The truck is gettin a Wideband and Custom Tune from a local Performance shop using HPT. Thanks for all the help

I haven't found a 60 that will hold up no matter what performance mods are done to it. Of course I'm very hard on stuff. Idk the whole difference in the 60 and 65 but from what I understand the 65 isn't much if any stronger. But I'm not making that much power and I have broke 4 60s that are supposed to be 700+ HP rated. So is say u might wanna think about a 80.

You have to add a second speed sensor, re-pin the 80E connector (I think its 2 pins that get swaped), have the ECU flashed accordingly, Modify the trans cross member. I believe the mounting point is around 5-6 inches rear ward, and the over all length of an 80E is around 5/8 of an inch shorter.
