Default 4l60e to th350

i have a 98 silverado and i was looking to swap to manual but i think its out of the budget BUT i can get a build th350 with 2800 stall brand new cheap.the 4l is acting up and im gonna do some work to the motor.i dont drive on the highway much so not really worried about OD.Can anyone give some good insight on the swap??

Bolt it up already! You might have to change the flexplate and move the crossmember if its the 6'' tail longer drive shaft. So your gonna want long tail shaft.to use the stock d/s yoke are the same as 69e so your if its the long shaft. Change the speed from manual to electric

What about the computer is it gonna go in to limp mode or just turn on the check light and the speedo do I just get a older cluster swap the speedo
