Ive been thru the 4L60E fight,, if i would have gone straight to an 80E i could have saved a ton of money and about 100hrs of labor of pulling the trans, getting it fixed, puttin it back in and hundreds of dollars in ATF.

Now if anybody ask, yea a 60E has a possibility of lasting, but i tow alot and ran the crap out of my truck. 80E was the answer and only cost me about $900 after it was said and done. Try getting a $900 4L60E to last.

i think with 600 force fed power it will be a time bomb because boost makes so much tq compared to NA. stock 80s are quite a bit cheaper that built 60s and are quite durable. just my. 02
