ya know i think im just gonna say screw it,and go with a 4l80e since even a stock one is strong let alone a mild built one, i found a few cheap non working ones down in LA along with some working ones, since im gonna have it fixed/built it really wont matter too much
but i just dont feel like shoving money into a 60e and chancing it to break or be built like **** ,now ive read something about the 80e having a shitty 1st gear can anyone clear that one up? also anyone able to direct me in the way of some parts for this conversion

thanks again everyone for yer input

first gear is much longer, but i don't think it is shitty. i like it now that i am use to it. at first i thought it was doggy but my first was no good anyway. all i did was spin.. now it just pulls but after 3500rpm i love it. helped from spinning to pulling now and i can stomp it without worrying about going my shifts awalys hit the mark now, as before when i kept it matted to the floor i hoped. swap wasn't too bad in a ecsb
