Use the 5.3 flexplate on your 6.0 and bolt it in..

5.3 swap to 2500

I have a 2000 1500 with a 5.3 the body is shot and the frame is pretty bad too so I was wondering if I could just swap the 5.3 and 4l60e trans into a 2500 from 99-06 since the 5.3 and 6.0 are the same block and mounts will the tranny bolt up directly 4x4 and all? Or am I gonna have to do a lot of mods

Yeah, but you'd be down on power. Just keep your 2500 transmission, swap the flex plate from the 6.0 to the 5.3, reflash the ECU and I think that's it. Note the differences between 99-02 and 03+

Yea. But if you used the 4l60 then you will need a input gear for the transfercase if you wanted to use the 2500 transfercase.
The transmission mount is about 2" further to the rear in the 2500.
