4k stall to much?

this ls engines usually peak around 4700. I think a 4000 converter would be a huge improvement. i went from a 3200 to a 4000 and shaved over 3 tenths in the 1/8 alone.

i have a ss3600 in my truck and all i can say is i wish i did the ss4000

i wish i could tell you it felt good but the tune is pretty messed up right now. a tune is definately next on the list.

youre probably peaking torque above 4k so yeah the 4k stall would help in all areas, i would sugguest a triple disc

i'd go with txsilverado on this call, find where your peak torque is then choose stall accordingly..

I'd get a dyno tune, and get that problem solved first before making any decision on stall speed, but I wouldn't be scared of a 4k converter at all.

Just to clarify, this stall speed won't give more power, but it will reduce your E.T.

I personally think its a little high, but it will definitely hit hard and be fun to drive. No doubt about that.

I say make that circle D stall to 4k by juicing a 200 shot at the light! Then enjoy your small stall milage on the way home...Hey you know me...
