Default 4k stall to much?

would i benefit from a higher stall speed? right now i have a 3k-3200 circle-d. my truck has a 5.3 with a tsp224r cam,milled 241s,lt's,no cats,cai and 4.10s how would a 4k stall work with my combo? i have seen a few guys running 3600s with 220 cams.

it would be alot faster at the track but would take more pedal to daily drive.

What are your goals? more power/ speed and better et? Do you car about fuel mileage.

I think a 4k stall would work best with a bigger cam as well. Maybe a texas speed tv.2 cam 232/234 .595 .598 with the 4k should get you another .5 with traction.

4000 would be perfect with a 224 in a 5.3 IMO.

That would be a good match for that cam at the track but would require a bit more pedal effort. I DD'd a 4200 in my truck for a while, it wasnt too bad.

if you dont care about fuel mileage then go for it. what size tires are you running on both the street/strip? for a tall tire maybe go 4.56s after that stall? also, what rmps and what gear do u cross the 1/4 mi in?

get it on the dyno locked in 3rd and find peak torque and make a decision from there.
