Here you go.
The shock that I would recommend is our part number DR5855B. This is one of our Proma Star Shocks. This shock is 11 5/8" compressed and 17" fully extended. It offers 12 positions of ride quality adjustment. The shocks run $179.99 each and the springs run $41.83 each. I hope this answers any questions that you might have. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us at any time.

8ALTNG,
Sorry. I just realized you said front shocks.
I bought #RC1914P
F8L used #RC1540P
When I was doing my research, I found that the 1914s were better lengthed for dropped trucks. But, I would check before you buy. I used info off of the DJM website and my dropped matched up to the part number I bought.
I'm taking it to a shop tonight. Hopefully it'll be all installed in a couple days. Like I mentioned, I gotta drop the *** end now that I'm gettin the front done.
Thanks.

4 links rock,
I'm anxious to see this kit on a stock height 2wd. As far as pinion angle what will the ride height of the truck be?, Something similiar to a 4" rear drop.
This is a really good post.
I had a 4link on my last truck but these newer chevy frames scare me alittle bit

This is the first setup I have seen with the coilovers out side the frame. That brings up an interesting question. Which would be better for wheel/axle control? I would think the closer the shock was to the wheel the better it could control it. But then again, you will have movement there as opposed to a more inboard position thus causing more wear on the shock? The inboard placement would also give more room for wider wheels with more backspace. So, which is a better placement for coilovers, closer to the wheel or closer to the chunk? Discuess.

Here are some pictures. I had the shocks mounted outside the frame. This allowed me to keep the spare tire and exhaust location.
It's the KP 4 link w/ QA1 shocks/springs.

Mine which handles a lot better, has a weird sway when traveling at decent speeds and you turn the wheel sharply. It is as if the *** end is not keeping up. This sway is similar to something that you would imagine happening in your Grandma's 1970/4000lb/4dr Buick.
Currently however, we are testing different things trying to see if this will go away. It could be a numerous amount of things as you can imagine. So, don't count out mounting it outside of the frame quite yet.
