Default 4.8L clutch

What is a grabby yet streetable clutch for my 1999 1/2t. I just went through my 2nd one in a year and half?

I used a dual friction centerforce on my 96.

Those transmissions are hard to shift....don't know if the clutch makes it any worse.

I was going to go with that or a McLoed dual disc. But I dont want it to burn out every time I let the pedal out.
I use it for weekend drag racing and 6000lb. tractor pulling class.

I have a spec stage 2.5 in mine. Nice pedal feel and grabs. What are your future mods?

Give Spec a call, they should have what your looking for. They go all the way to stage 5 for the 4.8L

+1 on SPEC... got a 3+ in mine, the pedal is BETTER than factory (easier to push down) just gotta get a little used to the way it grabs... i can drive it like a stocker now without that jumpy feeling.
