Default 4/6 drop nbs RCSB 4l80 swap drive shaft question

Not to beat a dead horse but there's a lot of cab and bed length variations, plus the 4x4 guys that muddy the info I'm looking for.

I'm hoping to hear from people with a nbs RCSB on a 4/6 drop (or similar) that have done a 4l80 swap and if they used the stock DS, what was needed to make it work besides the new yoke. Was it installed without shorting the DS, or how much did you have to shorten it and/or how much did you have to shorten the th400 yoke?

Yes, I have read all the info I can on 4l80 swaps and saw where many have run a stock length shaft with trimming some off the th400 yoke but not sure if they were lowered or not.

I’m a bit lower than 4/6 but,,, when I had my 4l65 I had a custom drive shaft but it was to stock specs. When I went 4l80 I used a sonnax yoke for 4L80with 1350 U-joints and the shaft did have to shortened a bit. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info. Any chance you know which length yoke? Sonnax makes a few and it would help give me an idea of overall length.
