You are correct! ... and I'm surprised. I'd helped a friend w/a pro street car a few years back and he had a Ford 9" in which we installed a 4.30 gear so I assumed that this ratio would be available for a Chevy 10 bolt. I was wrong. Randy's Ring & Pinion says nope. Guess I'll settle for the 4.10.

im goin from 3.73's to 4.56's eventually.

the fastest my truck ever 'cruises' at is 55mph...usually the road i take to/from the speed limit is 45mph...oh i also have a 5th gear and ill probably be running 33's, than go up to 37's
