Running a taller tire would probably help some. My 02 has 4:56 gears with a 28" tall tire

im runnin about a 29" tire.. when i was racin the truck with the 3:42 he never passed me from any roll except a 30, i hit 2nd at about 45 him i would say 55 that was enough to get beside me, then the 3rd gear bog and he was gone,

from a dig i got him and from the 55 roll i was mid way into 3rd when he hit 3rd and he wasnt able to come around but he got a truck length closer durin my 2-3 shift lol..

it seems like hes puttin down more power than me and my gear was barely wining the races when i think about it

Im not heavily modded, but with the FBO's and 3.73 on some 33" mud grapps, the 6.0+4L60E pulls pretty hard till about 95-8ish then it just slowly increases speed. I dont come out of second until about 91-92. Guessing its that 3rd gear bog also. Would a converter help here or some gears? Not trying the thread jack.

373s will shift into 3rd at 95 on a 29.5 tall tire
390s at about 90mph
410s at 85

with my shifts points

I got to get the 6.0 tuned, so im curious as to see how my mpgs are affected by it now. These heavy *** rims and tires dont help, but changing it up to ultra predators 20x10 and some toyo mt's or something like that. Hopefully be a little lighter. If its still **** I may regear.
