4:10 gear not as good as it may seem...opinions?

I dont dog it much. Trans cooler is on the list next and so is some changes in the tune to save it.

damn right they are. for the 18x9 **** stars and the 33 1250 grapps it was like 485 shipping weight or somthing like that

Race him from a dig if you wanna fall in love with those 4.10's. The gap you create off th eline will be way too much for him to recover by the time he hits 3rd gear.

I got 26's n 4.10 on my 08 CCSB. I love it but from 80 it's a turd it won't downshift. 70 is the highest speed it will

Im going to replace my 4.10s next week the 4.10s start to pull hard then i shift first and second gear feel to short and then my long driveshaft goes crazy at 85 to 95 mph i just cant decide to go with 3.73 or 3.42.

Torque converter! You need better shift extensions if it's laying down in 3rd.

I think it depends on your weight and power level. I have 410's and mine is pulling hard till the end of third. I typically gain 24 mph in the last half...only 2mph slower than my mid ten second vette.
