Default 3600 stall... too much?

Mods in signature, got a really good deal on a brand new 3600 converter. Hoping that it will be just right for my truck.

Can't see your truck mods on mobile but no. It's fine and you'll enjoy it.

I have a 3B in my garage that I can't decide if I want to swap it or sell it

It'll be fun and it'll open up some options if you ever want a larger cam.

My next concern is going to be the ability to tow an open car trailer without cooking the transmission. It was such a good deal that I jumped at it without thinking about all that. Guess I will call the vendor and see what they think... worst case scenario, I will trade it or sell it to buy something else that is a better fit.

My circle d 3200 foot brake stalls to 3500 or so in my 05 1500hd. I towed my 22' car hauler empty home which is pretty light ( probably 3000 lbs) and it was no different than with the stock converter for heat. Once you are up at road speed it just locks anyway. It will run hotter in the summer heat for me so a good cooler is a must. My old stock 80e converter flashed to about 2700 and I never had an issue with up to 10000 lbs behind the truck. Circle D spec'd this knowing my tow weights so I'm not concerned lol.

I just installed a TruCool 40K, and about to wrap my lead pipes with DEI heat wrap. The driver's side pipe runs close to the back of the transmission pan.

My car trailer is about 1800-1900 empty, my 72' is 4000+ lbs. I just need to be able to reliably tow around 6000-6500 lbs of car/trailer/gear.
