3600 stall and 4.10 gears, traction issues?
I have a 2003 silverado RCSB and I am going to go with a 3600 stall. I also wanted to get 4.10 gears and a trutrac, will have stock 30.1" tires (255/70r16). Will I have traction issues if I go with 4.10 gears matched to a 3600 stall? City and highway driving , probably no towing and the main goal is to have a fun weekend truck .
I have read about how great the 4.10's are in our trucks and also how great the 3600 stall is but i have yet to find an article based on my concerns. I am thinking it should be fine and it will just be a learning experience to control the rpms/throttle to enable hookup vs burn out?
thanks!

Yes 2wd and yes will be driving street tires for a bit. I will look into said options. Wondering now to just keep the stock 3.73 gears...hmm

4.10's are a good upgrade if you can still put the power to the ground. Its like any other mod you do to your truck. If it makes 200 more hp it doesnt matter if you dont do supporting mods to put it to the ground. Figure out what you want your end goal with the truck to be and start chipping away at it. Realize that, unless you have a lot of cash saved up, you wont be able to do it all at once so the truck will have different characteristics along the way until you reach your end goal.
