315 tire on stock rear end?
#1
I'm wanting to pick up a set of 315/45/16 radials for my truck and was just wondering if they'd fit up under it and not stick out a million miles or rub my frame with my stock width rear end?

I'll add that with a 16" wheel, 6" of backspace is all you can put on stock disk brakes before contact with the banjo bolt on the caliper. If you want the wheel to tuck, no more than 3" of front space. So the widest 16" wheel you could use and be inside the fender would be a 16x9 with 6" bs. This applies to the wheel only. Tires add extra width so adjust accordingly.

See, I was considering these wheels, but it looks like with only 4.5" of backspacing that they'd most likely be sticking out instead of tucking nicely... huh? :/
