Default 31.2" tire on 4.56s

What do you guys think about a 31.2" tire on a 2wd with 4.56 gears. The tranny is a 4l80e with a 9.5" size billet 3700 rpm stall converter.

I currently have 3.73s in the Tahoe, but due to the weight of the truck as well I'm thinking 4.56s to excellent! I already have had the gears new in box since xmas of last year. So I'm thinking if throwing them in, if u don't like it upgrade to 22s. That's kind of where in at.

The motor is a LQ9 with cai & longtube headers, 3" ory, street tuned by Alvin @ www.pcmforless.com

I'm not even sure if the abs brake light may come on?? But I expect the speedo be off untill the retune.

Any one with expertise ?

Yea will it? And what do you think of that combo as my daily driver. May drive cross country once a year. Daily 20-30 miles tops on hwy, and lots of city and hilly terrain.

My truck is exactly 2500rpm at 70mph with 30" tires. His would be a little less with a taller tire

not a bit worried about that rpm... drove cross country in TOW spinning more than that, towing more than my weight...

Thanks for all the comments guys, truck is going to feel awesome once I swap these gears, it will really wake the 80e up as well.
