Default 3/4 drop....w/ 285/50/20

i want to do a 3/4 drop on my truck but i want to keep the taller tires.....I like the look of the wheel and tire combo....can I do this w/ a 285/50/20 all the way around? I'm not worried about it rubbing a little but i want to be able to drive it every day also.....the truck is a 05 chevy rcsb

You will be OK in the rear but I'm pretty sure they will rub in the front. 275/45's are the only tires that willl fit in the front and still have a decent sidewall. I'm not certain on this....someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

2/4 is the max with 285/50 20 tires. If you want 3" in the front a tire about 30" in diameter is the max.

275/45/20 with a 3" drop, still have about 3.5"-4" of clearance to the fender lip.

your tire is only a .5" taller than mine, i think you will have no problems.

his problem wont be on the outer fender it will be on the top of the inner fender at full lock, and possibly the corner of the front bumper
