Default 265/65R17 on a 2/4 or 3/4??

Hey Guys,

I'm getting a set of Michelin LTX M/S 2 tires in 265/65R17 for the truck and they're going on the factory 17's. I'm looking to lower the truck either 2/4 or I was hoping to go a 3/4 drop for a slight rake.

Do you think I'll only be able to get away with a 2/3 up from or think I will be able to do a full 3/4 and not rub the tires up front? It's a 30.5" tall tire. The truck is the truck in the sig. Factory height 2006 2wd GMC 1500 rcsb.

Thanks Guys!

Matt

I ran 275/55/20's on a 2/4 drop with hardly any rub. Those tires are right around 31.9".

You should be just fine.

My goal is a 3/4 drop so I can have a little rake but, I am at least going to do a 2/4. Thanks man.
