Default 2014 spindles on a NNBS

So I'm doing a lift kit on a 2014 Z71 and I notice the spindles are aluminium. They look similar to the NNBS steel ones. I doubt anybody as tried this swap. I figured I could shed a few pounds if it would work. I know they will bolt up but I was worried about the geometry being different. I'm just wanting some opinions.

the ball joint taper is different.
that is why manufacturers (like Fabtech) specify the kits for steel or aluminum front end components.

I have since traded in my nnbs on a 2014 rcsb.

I'm thinking of putting these spindles on it. But that is going from aluminum to steel. I'm going from steel to aluminum, so I'm not sure it will work.

When you order the lift for aluminum spindles it comes with shims to put between the ball joint nut and spindle.
