2010 Camaro 6 spd

A friend called me to say he has a dealer take out from a 2010 Camaro 6 spd manual. He ran the numbers on it and it is from behind the 6.2L. That is all the information we have on it.

Is this a transmission worth messing with. I can't find any information on it. I am wanting to put it behind a 03 LQ4 in my 89 GMC Sierra. Any information would be awesome.
