Default 2" rear shackles?

Will 2" rear shackles make my truck sit level? What are the best ones to buy?

Mine sits close to level. I got a set of mcgaughtys (spelling may be off) some people say that theirs makes some squeking noises, mine is quiet. As far as I know they are all the same. Deffinitly makes the truck look alot nicer.

They should make it sit pretty close to level, if it doesn't go buy some $10 spring clamps from Auto Zone. I think the spring clamps dropped mine another 1".

If you have an ex-cab. Ground Force is the way to go. Very comprehensive kit.

I have the Belltech 2" shackles. They leveled the truck out nicely. I also have spring clamps because I wanted to keep wheel hop to a minimum. The clamps brought the rear down another 1/2" inch.

Bell Tech's use rubber bushings like the OEM's rather than polyeurethane, so they are less apt to squeak, but any brand will do the job. I had DJM's on my '01 Silvy, and they worked fine as well.
