Default 2/4 drop versus 3/4 drop

There is a good likelihood I will swap a 6.0L LS2 aluminum engine into the truck, should I go with a 3/4 drop since the weight on the nose will be less?

Opinions?

How soon are you planning the engine and how soon for the drop? If you're wanting it level bear in mind that the rear needs to be 3" lower in the rear usually to make it level. Personally I'd go with a 3/5 and if the engine raises the front a little it'll be level.

I agree. you will enjoy the 3/5 what size tires you running up front? 55sidewall on a 20" rim will rub unless you got like a 255 or something like that.

So then a 2/4 would net about the same without getting too low. I occasionally take dirt roads out here when we go trail riding.

Right now it has the stocker steel wheels, so I can run whatever I want to when the time comes.

if you are running 20's it will be close I had to go down to 45's on my3/5. I was runnint 275/ 45 r20 if you shortened the width to around 255 it might be enough to avoid that front fender lip which will hit during hard bumps.

Obviously that would depend on the rest of the tire dimensions. Do you have any idea how tire sizes work?

That's almost as bad as asking "Will a goodyear rub on a 4/6 drop?"
