edelbrock IAS shocks or doetch (sp?) are the shocks that most people go with.

Did you remove the bump stops ? When I bought my truck it had a 2-4 kit on it and the guy did not remove the stops and it almost put me in a ditch when I hit a bump in the road.

I took my rears out and every now and then it hits on a speed bumb, I cut my rear ones shorter and put them in the front I had to drill one of the holes on one side a little biger because of the left right thing but it was free and it worked. You can buy shorter ones from bell tech and companys like that. Check with some of the forum vendors. But if you have the stock ones in there that is your problem.

Only If you really want to eliminate bottoming out best thing to do is to get a C-notch! This will allow for more suspension travel and better ride quality. But the Doestch shocks are considered one of the best drop shocks out there and would greatly help and your ride! Try them out they should help! Oh yeah what drop kit did you with???

For some reason the NBS chevy tend to bottom out easier!

Shock extenders are needed in the rear for any drop lower then 2" to correct the shock angle.
Shorter bump stops like mentioned are also needed, after that if you still hit you need the C notch. Also lowering shocks should be used, the stockers are not valved for a drop. Doestch shocks are very good and not that much money.
