Default 2/4 Drop decision

I am going to buy a McG's drop kit. I have 2 options which I need opinions on.

There are 2 versions of the drop spindle. One provides a spacer for the lower ball joint. This one allows use of stock wheels. The other kit does not allow for wheels smaller than 17". According to McG's, neither kit effects turning radius.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I am selling my 22's right now. I will be using stock wheels for at least a month. After that I will have 22's again.

What do you guys think about this?

I would say try and get some used 17s and get those spindles if you plan on going bigger in the future.

I had to cut the threads from the balljoint to make the [17"]drop spindle fit with my 17"centerline wheels.

You might want to think about your spare tire too. If you ever have a flat, then you're not going to be able to use your stock 16" spare. Just something to consider.

Actually, I just thought about that after my second post. Also, im going to do big brakes at the same time, so stockers are out.

Im going to order the 17" and up kit.
