Default 2/4 drop or bag it with 4 link?

Searched the forums with minimal results. Basically I have a 91 C1500 2wd standard cab long bed. The drive train is finished. Phase 2 of the truck is the stance and traction. I have talked to a company that was suggested here about a 2/4 drop. But while replacing the front brake system I noticed all the stock steering and suspension along with the rear suspension has served its time. My brother says I should spend a few more bucks and bag it with a 4 link in the rear and tubes and bags up front for a nice ride. Not sure I want to bag it tho. Any input is much appreciated. Who else has a 91 truck like mine that has done either of the suspension systems I mentioned?

So I must be beating a dead horse here. I'm 90% sure I'm gonna 4 link the rear with coil overs and new tubular uppers and lowers with coil overs on the front and a 2/4 drop.

So after much time spent researching the suspension and talking to a few different companies, I have decided on new U and LCA's and bagging the truck.
Gonna go with these guys for the bag kit (Trust The Air Suspension Ride Pros; Find Exclusive Deals on Hot Rod Suspension, Lift Kits, Lowering Kits, Lambo Doors, air springs, air bags, Billet Wheel Adapters, Towing Kits, Air Shocks, Air suspension Lift Kits) and these fella's for the U/LCA's (88-98 Full Size Chevy/GMC 1500 Budget Series Arms) I'm gonna run stock 15's and keep the sleeper look. I'm also gonna install a posi in the rear to hook up both tires when needed.

With that all being said, I'm trying to figure out what wheels' in a 15" I need to buy. I'm not into stuffing bigger wheels and rubber bands under my truck. To me it looks #(%&%#(&%$ not to offend anyone. Stock 15's with the correct backspacing to tuck under the wheel wells is what I'm looking for. Anyone running stock 15's on a drop kit? If so what backspacing did you go with on the wheels?

I'm not sure if their reputation has improved over the last ten years but AIM or airbagit or whatever they are calling themselves these days, they have sold stuff under a lot of different aliases. They are basically the harbor freight of the suspension world. You might want to do some research on the kit or look into another company.

Is that why the kit is priced so low? I will look into it more. Thanks man!

Thanks to Feed for the info about airbagit or what ever they are calling themselves now. I will not be buying anything from them. I read way too many bad reviews on a number of forums. Back to the drawing board.

If you're wanting to bag it or think you will want to bag it in the future, go ahead and bag it now.

It'll save you money, time, cussing, etc in the long run.

Yep, Check out Ridetech, Air lift, Kp components. Depending on how much fab work you want to/can do, Thorbecke brothers and extensive metal works.

My '04 is bagged, let me know if you have any questions.

I'm planning on bagging it and a 4 link in the rear. I will most likely piece it all out unless I can find a whole kit from a reputable company that I don't have to take a 2nd out on my house to buy. Any and all feed back is appreciated!
