The rims that are on it those pictures were 10 inches wide with a 4" backspacing. They stuck out way to far. I have 8 inch rims now with either 4" or 3.75 backspacing. The wheels are US wheels made for large brakes

i did mine today and i grinded mine on an angle so most of the strenght is there.

1.81 while spinning some thru 1st on the street with no traction aid

Those pics are with the factory 16's on.....I forgot to mention that.

yea with my calipers you cant see them at all with 15s. its that close

after all this caliper grinding talk i think im going to just go out and buy a set of 16x8 steel wheels and mount up a set of MT 28x11.50-16. so much easier.

Anybody have any problems yet with their calipers? It seems pretty much any 15" wheel will work when the caliper is ground at an angle with the high side being towards the diff side correct?
