Default 14bolt Help

So I sent my rearend out to be narrowed but due to the design it's going to be harder than he thought and we can't seem to locate some new axle ends, does anyone know where I could find some, even if it was to convert to eliminate c-clips... only thing we see being the easiest is to make a new set of backing plates and weld them on the new position for the disc brakes and cut the axle ends in more and slide it back. And if that's the case, where could I get new bearings just to be on the safe side

So from what your saying the guy that is supposed to be norrowing this thing is planning on just hacking w/e material off the end of the tubes?

not hacking, all my brackets were welded in place so he planned to cut the ends off and weld new ones on. but since I'm switching stuff up he's going to just cut it behind the end bearings and narrow it from there. I guess I will have to run spacers for the backing plates instead.

but I still would like to look into a c-clip eliminator.

NO NO NO, the only way to do it right IMO, is to pull the tubes from the housing and narrow it there. Then any and all the brackets that were on the end remain as they were. The only custom pcs you would need would be the axle shafts

I know he will do it right, I've seen his work I could be stating it wrong... but if I brought it as is and had it narrowed from the housing then everything would move inwards. So I'm going to have it narrowed the do the brackets. and for the disc brakes just do a space like the chronic did.

Where do I get new seals and bearings ect?
