Default 1"ish body drop for SUV with S10 mounts

I've found old dead end discussions on this but has anyone else done it?

I haven't read up on it but I would imagine if the bolts fit and they give sufficient isolation for the body then I'd say you got a winner! Couldn't be too expensive to try out either way. Are you talking about stock rubber bushings or something in poly?

Looks like Poly rides pretty harsh. So probably rubber. I think the biggest part not mentioned is the bumpers. Both ends are very custom on the GMC converted truck so it likely didn't matter.
But wow another inch and no ground clearance change....

I'm still deployed so I've been googling and scrutinizing pics of Avalanche bumpers. Anyone have any input to tide me over? I think the rear looks like an easier fix. The front, I just can't tell.

Bump for attention on my own crap...

So I keep trying to look at pics of the bumper brackets. I think I can just redrill and move them. I'm thinking this is just like adjusting bumpers after a body lift, only down instead of up. Guys who've done a body lift on a cladded truck, please chime in.

So, over on the Tahoe Yukon forum we were talking about rubber vs poly. I had been leaning more towards rubber for a soft ride till I realized rubbers is in the neighborhood of $30+ per mount. Looks like poly it is since I can find Energy Suspension mount kits as low as about $130 shipped.

I'm home soon and cant wait to dig into this more.
