2008 Tahoe 402 / 4l80 / Turbo Ready
#1
Selling my 2008 Tahoe. Have had this truck since it was new and has never been wrecked. Truck now has;
Engine
LME Built 402
9:5:1 (Low compression, built for high boost)
Callies forged crank
Callies forged H beam rods w/ arp studs
Weisco forged pistons
Arp main cap studs
Double roller timing chain
Camshaft-
Duration is 238/242
Lift is .636 with a 114 lsa
Holley High Rise Intake
Fuel
Dual Walbro 450 Pumps both with seperate wiring. Currently using 1, the other should be used with a hobbs switch once a turbo is installed
FIC 1000 CC Injectors
Holley Fuel Rails and a Boost Referenced FPR
Heads-
Fully CNC'd LSA heads
2.165" Intake Stainless valves
1.6" Stanless exhaust valves
Dual Valve Springs
ARP Head Studs
Driveline
Jakes Stage 2 4l80
DSS 5" Aluminum Driveshaft
Still a 10 bolt rear with a tru trac and 4.11's
Additionally
Meth Controller and Pump
3" inlet and outlet intercooler already mounted in grill (the biggest that can fit)
HP tuners (The hp tuners hardware software and the laptop used to tune the truck)
This truck has around 75,000 miles on the chassis. The engine and trans have under 5,000 miles. Oil has been changed 3 times, that includes the break in change.
No expense was spared when putting this truck together.
$11,000.00 in the assembled engine
$3,200.00 in the trans
$1,200.00 in driveshaft and rear end
$2,300.00 in fuel system
Book value of this vehicle is right at $16,000. I am asking $20,000 for the complete truck and will also throw in a spare 4l80e that I had ready for the truck. I am selling because I never drive the truck, and currently have an outdated tag and no insurance on the vehicle. I am willing to deliver 150 miles out one way for no extra charge from Montgomery Alabama. Over that will be $1.50 a mile.
This vehicle originally had a turbod 4.8 that made 550+ RWHP until it fuel pump failure killed the engine. The truck was then fitted with the current engine and jakes transmission in preperation to make around 800-1000 RWHP. I have completely lost interest in the vehicle and have no intentions to finish the project. At this price you could swap in a junkyard 5.3/4l60, sell the truck and put the drivetrain to good use in something lighter.
