Default 1-2 shift sucks, take a listen

I have two sound clips of a wot and 3/4 ot take off.

I currently running blind with no diagnostic software.
I have a Tune I'm very happy with but I'm not sure if the 1-2 shift is because of the tune or the actually tranny itself.

currenlty i'm running Bone stock drive train with the exception of a CAI, LT's True Duals, Cats! and 2005 fans.

Nothing has been done the tranny yet and plans for a stall and shift kit are in the near future.

tell me what you guys think?

2-3 shift is good and crisp so I'm slightly confused.

Thanks guys

my 1-2 shift was pretty sloppy also.the transgo shift kit and vette servo seems to have cured it for now. yours sounds like a worn band.

I think you need to find out what your commanded pressure solenoid duty cycle is for the 1-2 shift at high throttle position. This could be just tuning. It sounds like an F-150 shifting right now, I would take it easy until you work this out or you could lose second and overdrive if you burn the band.

Sounds like TM to me. It's the tuning I bet.

Ah yes! Mine used to sound exactly like that, especially after I installed the radix. Tuning didn't help. What did was installing a Corvette servo. I highly recommend it. Costs only about $20 or so, and you can do it yourself. Makes a world of difference.

34,000 miles on the tranny.

I'm not driving it now but will have look at the tuning.

prolly going to go with a new setup and stall.

I'd get a shiftkit and servo for it. Just sounds like the typical TM and weak shift of a 4l60e.
Have your tuner or ask your tuner really if he removed all the Torque Mangamnet from the tune. If not ask him to do so.

That's a slipping band.

What mods have you recently done? Did this all of a sudden start happening, or has it gotten worse over a period of time?
