Actually I noticed after the headers and true duals which was completed in Nov.
The only other mods i have is a cai, fans and tune.

I hardely drove the truck this year, let alone any wot runs.
But now that the truck revs fatser and is freakin loud I can really hear and feel the slipping shift big time.

The tune needs to be updated, so I'm hoping after that I can get a better idea on what to expect to buy over the winter.

I had a built tranny and yank stall in my 99 black stepside and never had a problem.

heres a sound clip of that.

Shift kit and vet servo may fix it. I had a bad double shift from 1-2. Put in a super servo and asked nelson to take timing out of shift to make it quicker. My tranny has lots of miles on it and has been great. Im suprised how long mine has lasted and how good it still feels, and it still cherps 2nd even with the 36"

James, I'm going to sell the trans out of your old truck. You can have first dibs if you want it
Pretty soon i will be able to get a speedo shot and we can compare old to new

One thing that one not mentioned here was a cracked 1-2 accumulator piston, this will cause a slipping 1-2 shift also and take the band out if not caught in time. We recommend upgrading to the aluminum style pistons when anyone calls looking for shift kits, servo's ect.. Just FYI.

My VHO does the same thing. I only have 15000 miles on it. I just have a Nelson tune with LT, dual Magnaflow, CAIT, 80mm TB, alot bigger cam.

When I drive to work I mess with the guys going home, when I stomp it going up hill, it will spin its *** off and then when it shifts. It feels like you took your foot off the gas and pressed the brake. It shifts to 2nd and takes off.

But from a stand still mine shifts just like that.
