Default 06 ball joints

I cannot drive out the hot rivets in the lower a-arms to change the balljoints? Anyone ever change em out? How did you get em out? Drill? I have tried air chisel and grinder and nothing...

Use an air chisel with a blade on it to knock the head off, then push it out.

I use a cut off wheel to cross cut the head of the rivet then use the air chisel to knock the head off. Then I've got a blunt bit about 3/8 in diameter that I use to drive them out. If that doesn't work I drill them out. I had one an old 92 Chevy 4wd that I had to drill every single one out.

Thanks after A LOT of air hammer and grinding they would never come out, didn't try drilling. We took them off and put new ones on. Little pricey but I have to old a- arms which are going to see a drill and more air hammer!

Thanks for all the info.
