Default 05 Tahoe questions

I have an 05 Tahoe and it will need tires before too long. I have a series of questions regarding this change.

1. Will 285/70 fit on the stock rim?

2. I'm considering putting a small lift on the vehicle. Where is a good place to start looking for lift kits?

3. What transmission comes stock in the Z71 Tahoes?

4. I kind of want to leave the torque management on the transmission but I want to get a Yank TT 3000 stall. Will the computer have to be recalibrated to work with the new stall? My reason for this is, the Tahoe is loaded with options and it is a decent riding vehicle (considering it's a Z71). I want to retain some of the comfort but add some better acceleration. This thing is a PIG.
