Default 04 2wd lower ball joints?

I think the ball joints on my truck are going bad getting some wheel shake and like a rattle on bumpy pavement, I looked up the parts and seen there is 2 options one is to replace the complete lower or upper arm or just the ball joints? how hard are the lower ball joint to get out I remember hearing they need to be drilled out?

any links or videos on how to?

When the lower ball joints go out on my truck I either plan to buy a new lower control arm with the bolt in ball jonts or take the lower control arm off and take it somewhere and let them fvck with trying to get the ball joints out. They are pressed in and take a ton of work to get removed.
How many miles are on your truck?

Lowers are a PIA! Tried to take the head off the rivets and air hammer them out, but after an hour it was not happening. Pulled the control arm and pressed them out. If you can just buy the whole control arm, much easier and will save a lot of time!
