Default 01 Z71 Leveled on 35's

I have 2001 Z71 and I need new tires SOON so I figured id just go ahead and get oversize mud tires like I want so when I get a bigger lift ill already have them. ive heard of guys having the RC leveling kit and running 35's which is the size I want, but I have 16x9 -12 offset rims and the RC leveling kit, I want to buy Nitto Trail Grappler 315/75-16's and run them on my current setup, is this possible with my offset rims? Ive seen guys do it on stock rims but not offset rims. if anybody has pictures of where it rubs or what it will look like that will help a lot, Thanks

they probably won't fit with just a leveling kit.

3" lift should be good and you might have to trim the bottom bumper piece

Look into the NorCal fender mod. But I don't think 35's will fit with those wheels.

Are you sure? I've seen trucks with aftermarket rims and that lift and they clear 35's, id really like to be able to run them on this setup it would help out alot

Offset is a major factor in fitment. Stock wheels are around +14 offset, which helps to make the tire pivot on the ball joints axis. Your -12 offset wheels not only stick out farther, they are also wider. This combo will no longer pivot on the ball joints axis, it will actually swing forward & backward in the wheel well when you are turning, reducing clearance substantially.

If you're determined enough, you could "make" them fit with a sledgehammer & a lot of cutting.

well yeah there a lot wider than stock which is what I wanted there a 16x9 rim. The rear would clear fine wouldn't it? the front what all do you id have to do? cut the mud flap and trim the bumper? I trimmed the air dam already but do you ill have to do more? like a lot?
