Default ***Quick help on shocks***

I have a 99 gmc Sierra with a 3/5 drop going on a trip and I need front shocks bad don't have time to order drop shocks are there any shocks at the auto parts stores I can use for this it's dropped in the front with coil springs

my stock shocks rode great when I was lowered 3" in front.

but I've read shocks for a 2000 GMC Safari Van 2WD are a little over 1" shorter collapsed, so they would work good.

Will stock size shocks rise it up cause I don't want that to happen

No, it won't. You may think about just getting a set of KYBs or something else off the shelf...

If I were you, I would go to your local store and have them pull out a shock for your truck AND a shock for the Safari. Compare the 2, and if the Safari shocks look the same but, are an inch shorter... buy the Safari shocks.
Then let us all know how you did!
