NNBS Weight Reduction

No warnings from here. Take this thread off-topic and get a vacation. I just deleted 71 posts, if yours was one, take heed.
This thread is about weight reduction, not performance mods.
1) I sincerely doubt helium or nitrogen will do anything but keep pressure where it should be, longer. If you are like me you play with tire pressures to achieve traction, as necessary. I don't carry a bottle of gas to re-inflate my tires, do you?
2) weight reduction is racing. It's as much of racing as is performance. We are a STREET-LEGAL truck racing forum. If you want to pull something off your truck DOIT, it's all part of the game.
For the record, I pulled;
Passenger seat
rear bench
spare
tools
roll pan bumper delete
Tow hitch assy.
I still rock my anti-sway, skid plates, and a lot of other crap underneith I am too lazy to yank.
So again, let's keep this thread on topic. Thank you.

I weighed my truck today finally...twice.
5400 lbs full weight with Snug Lid and Bed Rug added, they weigh 150 lbs together.

Never personally weighed mine... far as niffs idk if that was with him in it, dont know how much gas, and iirc he did it on the way home so his tool box was in the back... not 100% tho, youd have to ask him...

i didnt weigh mine on a CAT scale, weighed it on a scale through work, its suppose to be right considering the goverment keeps track of whats hauled on those trucks and bs i dunno.
5840 was full tank of gas, all those performance parts in my back seat, 20s, everything from the factory, and me in it. im a fat sob so i prolly added 375lbs to it give or take an ounce or two
arent those peices above for front impact purposes? such as digging into the ground if need be or helping stop the truck from buckling too far. dont quote me on that its just a guess.
chevrolade you need a battery box to clean that up a little better imo. summit has em cheap last i looked.
