I may try opening up the stock venturi a little to see if the stock regulator can in fact regulate a little better than we give it credit for. The stock return line is choked down by a pin hole in the venturi.

62-63PSI I could deal with, but approaching 70 just seems way too high.

The other issue is once WOT I still think that the presure will drop to 50 or lower.

Rob- drill out that hole. In stock configuration is retarded small, this is ok for a low flow rate as it keeps the velocity up but with a big pump it won't work.

Silveraydo- to regulate pressure you have to convert to a return fuel system, this puts the regulator in the engine bay, your regulator will reference manifold pressure to vary the fuel rate accordingly.

IFR- Injector Flow Rate. ( how much they flow at a given PSI)

ok thanks guys. do you guys think drilling out the venturi will allow this to work...smoothly enough at least? i really dont want to convert to return system, not yet at least. so it looks like this type of regulator started in 03 or 04 models? and before that they still had return style and were MAP regulated? couldnt you steal a fuel system from one of the earlier models?

If you plan to feed 80lb injectors your gonna have to convert, or keep boost low until you do.

Rob you are running 14 psi still on returnless right? what pump(s) are you using? just a single 255 was getting you 11.43?

Yes... but I wouldn't recommend it lol. A single 255 is right.

Ha allright. Still pretty cool to make a time like that in a 4 door truck with that pump. Even if it's sketchy
