Be careful with that Hobbs switch, if it fails you lean out under boost. I just run both of mine and return the fuel to the tank.

Sweet. I'll check that out. Have to dig in there for return anyway.

No issues with heating fuel on mild cruising through town/traffic, or is that more urban legend and dead head system problems?

While I'm thinking about it, did any of you return through fuel filler neck, and which kit did you use or what's the diameter of the filler neck rubber hose? Guess I could always measure OD when I investigate the available space in that areola too.

How much room do you have between the rear of the fuel tank and the rear axle?

I'll have to check. I seem to recall it being fairly 'busy' back there.

Started putting the tank and pumps together. Working on it while I wait on pistons.....ordered 2/11 and they aren't scheduled to ship now until 5/31, so I'm building as much of the fuel system while I can in the meantime before mowing season starts again.

I used WD40 as lube and a few seconds with a heat gun to get the tubes on. Also found out the 90* fittings I ordered for the lid won't work due to interference with each other. I need to get at least a couple 8ORB to 8an adapters and some 8an 90s.

Checked behind the tank. Vertical clearance but too close to the rear axle given it's thiccc....

After adding the fittings, it became "too buku" for everywhere but under the hood. It fits perfectly in the area the stock air box was. Hood closed with no issues.
